READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE BEGINNING
It
should not be necessary to jack up the front of the car unless it has been
lowered or has a low front air dam. The
rear end installation may be easier with the rear of the car jacked up. Install new adjustable end links at normal
ride height. NOTE: If car has been
jacked up, lower car to ground and roll back and forth 10-feet at least three
times. Check ride height. Tighten lock nuts until there is
approximately .020” to .030” gap between spring coils; about one thumb nail
thickness. Caution: Tightening too much
may break something! If roll coupling is
too much, car corners too flat, or tire contact isn’t correct, back off on
adjustment to get proper roll coupling and handling. Check catalog for definitions of oversteer
and understeer.
